Joseph Elliott As Detective Gripper

Joseph trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. After graduating, he set up comedy sketch group Four Screws Loose, which has now had five critically-acclaimed years at the Edinburgh Festival and sell out runs at the Soho Theatre, Udderbelly Southbank and Adelaide Festival, Australia.

 

He is also well known for playing 'Cook' in the BAFTA-nominated TV show Swashbuckle, now on its third series.

 

Joseph is thrilled to be able to play Gripper.

 

• Theatre credits include: Shore (Riverside Studios), NewRevue (Canal Cafe Theatre), Cinderella (Oxford Playhouse), Merlin (International tour) and Jack and the Beanstalk (Buxton Opera House).

• Other TV credits include: Justin's House, Peter Pan (BBC) and A CBeebies' Christmas Carol. He will also be starring in this year's BBC adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.
